About
Freelance garden writer and author, and Head Gardener at the Garden Museum on the South Bank, London.
Trained at the Botanic Garden of Wales, I contribute articles on horticulture, Nature and travel for magazines and journals such as The Guardian, Hortus, Ideal Home, Oh Comely and a regular column for Toast Magazine. I have published several books for the publisher Pavilion Books and keep this blog as a free-form space to reflect on – and share images of – the natural and gardening world.
My key interests lie at the intersection between cultivated and natural environments; the marks we make and the cracks in-between. My latest book is on international forests and will be published in early 2019.
I have fallen in love with your blog. There. I said it.
Thanks for deciding to follow my blog. Enjoy!!
